ApunoGames is both a duo of game developers and a community space, yearning for the simpler times of the older internet.
Remember when online spaces weren’t cannibalized by centralized platforms, that seek to know everything about you, down to requiring you to fully dox yourself to use their services you’ve grown dependent on? Remember how you didn’t have to be ridiculously careful of what you post? We remember, and we want it back.
We love anonymity, and freedom of speech (within reason). ApunoGames remains publicly accessible for news about our work, and community interactions. We also strive to stay apolitical. We’ll never ask for your full name, your address, etc. Whether you’re left wing, right wing, deeply religious or an atheist is not our business, we don’t want to know, and you shouldn’t share it in the first place. We just want you to have fun in these times of division and hostility.
We have posts available in two forms: Blogs and Devlogs.
We use Blogs to communicate about the state of the site, forum and community, alongside miscellaneous stuff. We do not use blogs to share our private lives. We do not campaign against people or groups in the name of righteousness.
We use Devlogs to share progress on our work. The work itself can be anything, and schedules are chaotic. We make (and mod) games, so expect to see a bit of that on here.
This is where you come into the picture. ApunoGames Forum is a community driven space where you can engage in any topic of discussion.
Rules are rather lax, however we prohibit NSFW and otherwise illegal material.
The forums can serve as a publicly available resource for various things, as we allow guests to see everything. You will never need an account to visit the forums. You only need one to post.
We realize people can be intimidated by forum structures, and may hesitate to post as a result. You are not alone. Moderation is here to assist you if need be, and correct your mistakes where applicable. There is no better way to learn than to try.
